ServHub Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 5, 2025


1. Introduction

Welcome to ServHub, Nigeria’s on-demand service marketplace. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ServHub platform (the “Service”), including our mobile apps (ServHub, ServHub Pro, ServHub Connect) and website. By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and other policies incorporated herein by reference.


2. Definitions

  • “Customer” means any person or business that books and pays for services through ServHub.

  • “Provider” means a professional or business registered via ServHub Pro offering services to Customers.

  • “Workman” means the individual assigned via ServHub Connect to fulfill a booking.

  • “Booking” means a confirmed appointment between a Customer and a Provider/Workman.

  • “Service Fee” means the total amount the Customer pays for a Booking, including any platform or transaction fees.


3. Accounts & Registration

  1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria. Providers and Workmen must have valid identification and any necessary licenses or certifications.

  2. Account Information: You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

  3. Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.


4. Booking & Payment

  1. Service Requests: Customers submit service requests via the app or website. Providers/Workmen may accept or decline. A Booking is confirmed when accepted.

  2. Pricing & Fees: All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Service Fees, platform fees and any applicable taxes are disclosed at checkout.

  3. Payment Processing: Payments are processed via our third-party partners. By using the Service, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the full Service Fee.

  4. Refunds & Cancellations: Subject to our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.


5. User Conduct

  1. Prohibited Activities: You may not use the Service to:

    • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

    • Infringe the rights of others (privacy, intellectual property, etc.).

    • Post harmful, obscene or offensive content.

  2. Respect & Safety: Customers and Providers/Workmen must treat each other with courtesy and respect. Any threats, harassment or discriminatory behavior may result in account suspension.


6. Provider & Workman Responsibilities

  1. Qualifications: Providers/Workmen represent and warrant they have the skills, licenses and insurances required to perform services.

  2. Performance: Services must be performed professionally, on time and in accordance with the Booking details.

  3. Liability: Providers/Workmen are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their negligence during service delivery.


7. ServHub’s Role & Liability

  1. Platform Only: ServHub acts solely as a marketplace facilitating connections—it is not a party to any service contract between Customer and Provider/Workman.

  2. Disclaimers:

    • SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

    • SERVHUB DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  3. Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVHUB’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SERVICE FEES PAID BY THE CUSTOMER OR RECEIVED BY THE PROVIDER/WORKMAN IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPLICABLE BOOKING.


8. Intellectual Property

  1. ServHub Content: All text, graphics, logos, audio, video, software and other content on the Service is owned or licensed by ServHub and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

  2. User Content: You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, profile information), but grant ServHub a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display it in connection with the Service.


9. Termination & Suspension

  1. By You: You may delete your account at any time via settings or by contacting support.

  2. By ServHub: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity or other misconduct, with or without notice.

  3. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. Outstanding obligations (fees, disputes) survive.


10. Dispute Resolution

  1. Informal Resolution: Please contact support at hello@servhubapp.com to resolve any complaints.

  2. Arbitration: Any dispute not resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. Each party bears its own costs.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.


12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
